Membership Application Forms
Before completing your application form, please ensure that you read the Nuclear Professionalism Standard and Application Guidance.
Applications are considered quarterly. For more details see Member (MNucI) or Fellow (FNucI).
Professional Registration Forms
Applicants for professional registration must be current NI Members or Fellows, or simultaneously applying for NI Member or Fellow.
If you are already a Member or Fellow and wish to apply for professional registration only,
Otherwise, simply complete and submit the relevant form from the list below alongside your MF1, MF2 or MF3 application.
IMPORTANT: BEFORE YOU START
- Have you read the section on "Professional Registration" on the Member or Fellow pages?
- Please read this before attempting your application to make sure you're submitting all the correct information.
- If you don't meet the academic eligibility basis (i.e. you don't have the required degrees) you must also complete and attach the appropriate equivalence form in lieu of the degree/s.
- If you send us an application without including the right equivalence form, your registration application will almost inevitably be delayed until at least the next quarterly cycle.
So please make sure you've read and understood the criteria before applying so we can get your application through as fast as possible!
If you're not sure, you can email membership@nuclearinst.com.
Or for a faster answer, we recommend giving our team a call on +44 (0)330 341 0570 and ask for Membership.
Equivalence forms for CEng, IEng and EngTech applicants
For those who don't meet the academic basis for standard applications.
Please note that the relevant equivalence form must be returned WITH the appropriate RF-X application for Chartership, not in lieu of.
Where content is relevant to both forms (which is likely), this should be copy-pasted to both. Each application form must stand alone during any audit by the licensing body.
CSci and CEnv applicant Equivalence forms
For those who don't meet the academic basis for standard applications.
Please request one by emailing membership@nuclearinst.com or calling us on +44 (0) 330 341 0570 and ask for the Membership Team.
Again, the equivalence form must be returned WITH your competence and commitment report, not in lieu of.
