All current members in good standing of the Nuclear Institute and the relevant corresponding society, including students, early-career professionals, and senior practitioners are eligible for the reciprocal benefits outlined by the particular agreement.

NI members applying to ANA

To apply to ANA if you are a member of the NI, please complete and submit the application form.

You will need to have your NI membership number and grade to complete the form. Once your application is received, you will be added to the ANA Membership Register as a Pending Member. All membership applications are subject to approval by the ANA Committee and are formally considered at the next ANA Committee meeting, which is held approximately every six weeks.

While your application is being reviewed, you will receive the same emails, updates, and information distributed to ANA members.

ANA members applying to NI

To apply to the NI if you are a member of the ANA you will need to contact the ANA Secretary: Dr John Harries – ana@nuclearaustralia.org.au to obtain a code and further information on how to sign up.

The Nuclear Institute is the UK representative body for the European Nuclear Society. We contribute a member to the ENS Board and to the High Scientific Council. 

All Nuclear Institute members are automatically members of the European Nuclear Society.

ENS acts as an umbrella association for 22 national networks of nuclear professionals, comprising more than 13,000 nuclear professionals from the academic world, research centres, industry and authorities. The Society encourages the networking of scientists and engineers between different countries and organises meetings devoted to scientific and technical matters and communication on nuclear applications.

Signed as a five-year co-operation agreement, the Nuclear Institute and Indian Nuclear Society partnership is centred on nuclear skills, professional standards, training and knowledge exchange.

INS members applying to NI

Members of the Indian Nuclear Society will receive discounted access to joint webinars, meetings and workshops, and to the Nuclear Institute’s online eLearning platform, with selected courses offered free. The training covers regulatory practice, safety culture, innovation and ongoing nuclear-specific modules. Rooted in UK practice, the programmes are relevant internationally.
