We would like to announce the upcoming departure of our CEO Sarah Beacock, after a successful seven-year tenure.
During this period of leadership, Sarah has guided the Institute through the significant challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic, whilst driving growth and putting the NI in the consistent position of reporting financial surpluses. This has allowed for significant investment in member services and expansion of activity to support the nuclear sector more widely, which will continue in 2024 and beyond.
Sarah joined us in 2017 from the Energy Institute (EI), where she worked for 15 years in roles including Professional Affairs Director and Skills and Capability Director. We thank Sarah for all her contributions and wish her the very best in her next steps.
An announcement regarding the search for a suitable replacement will be released shortly. We would like to reassure all our members, stakeholders and colleagues that operations, activities and events will continue as normal during this transitional period.
