North East Branch: Nuclear News and Nuclear Professionalism Event Image

The North East Branch of the Nuclear Institute recognises that there is an important role for it to play as the Nuclear Industry expands. That growth could be significant in the Northeast and hence this year we will hold quarterly evening sessions in which there will be a news update with talks on how local companies perform in different aspects of the Nuclear Industry.

This session will commence with an overview on Nuclear Professionalism and its importance. While the programme is being finalised, presentations from James Bewley (Branch chair), Alan Davies (Nuclear Institute) and Tom Metcalfe (Cavendish Nuclear) have been confirmed providing a range of viewpoints on nuclear professionalism.

The sessions are intended to be informative and enjoyable with the objective of strengthening the appeal of the North East for companies with nuclear intentions in the region and will form part of the drive of the Nuclear North East Cluster.

All sessions will take place at Hartlepool College and commence at 17:15 with networking over pizza and drinks. Open to NI members and non-members.

When: Thursday 19th March 2026, 17:15 to 19:30
Where: Hartlepool College, Stockton Street, Hartlepool, TS24 7NT
Registration deadline: Wednesday 18th March.
