The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) have released a guide to quality management careers in nuclear providing an in-depth look at the roles available to quality professionals.
In recent years, fewer people have actively considered the idea of a career in the nuclear sector, but with the planned construction of new nuclear power stations in the UK and thousands of new jobs expected as a result, alongside a host of new qualifications and training to provide the necessary skills, there has never been a more exciting time to consider a career in this area.
As the nuclear industry grows, the quality profession will be crucial in meeting the challenges faced. It is quality professionals who will ensure organisations are equipped to deal with the fast pace of change that will be required, as well as focusing on the assurance of safety and environment that is so critical to nuclear.
This guide aims to give both employees and employers the information they need about quality management careers in nuclear.
