On Monday, 13th April, the call for submission of abstracts was issued for the International Conference on Water Chemistry of Nuclear Reactor Systems (Nuclear Plant Chemistry Conference, NPC 2016) to be held in the Brighton Dome from 2nd-7th October 2016.

NPC 2016, which is being organised by the Nuclear Institute, will be the 20th edition of the bi-annual nuclear conference and sees the conference, which started out as the Bournemouth Conference on Water Chemistry of Nuclear Reactor Systems in 1977, return to the UK after a long absence.

Following on from highly successful events in Paris in 2012 and Sapporo, Japan, in 2014, NPC 2016 is expected to attract a host of world-renowned exhibitors and speakers for five days of presentations covering a broad range of  topics including Life Time Management and Plant Aging, Chemistry for Nuclear New Build, and the Fukushima response.
