The Role

• Advises about the specific requirements of the ONR and has a deep understanding of their culture, work habits and expectations
• Develops and maintains a Nuclear safety culture 
• Produces the list of safety classified materials and/or equipment in accordance with the Works Information
• Approves the QRA (Quality Related Activities) list
• Analyses all phases involving QRA relevant equipment or components: Studies/Qualification Process; Procurement; Supply, fabrication or prefabrication, and Factory Acceptance Tests; Mounting and Site Acceptance Tests. 
• Identifies technical controls associated with each QRA 
• Ensures that technical controls have been executed in accordance with the defined requirements 
• Represents the Alliance with the NuSOf (Nuclear Safety Officers) network to share experience 
• Drives with the Quality Manager the Lessons learnt process during and at the end of the project, and implement the lessons learned from other projects

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

•  10 years in a similar position 
• Expert in Nuclear safety, robust knowledge of the ONR's requirements 
•  Good knowledge of Quality management principles 
• Passionate about sharing experience, educating and upskilling a team of people 
•  Fluent in English and French (native speaker in one, B2 or more in the other) 
•  Flexible and open-minded approach 
•  Sound understanding of the ONR's processes and requirements 
•  Strong background in nuclear new build (RCCE, Qualification, British Standards) 
•  Proven Nuclear safety experience in Major Projects 
•  Proven experience with Nuclear Safety authorities 
•  Full project lifecycle experience
