This three-day seminar, organised by the Young Generation Network will allow delegates to have the opportunity to gain an overview of the waste and decommissioning profession from experts across the nuclear industry and beyond. The event will give delegates valuable tools and guidance as they begin their career, the site tours will allow the delegates to appreciate the scale of the work being undertaken across the NDA sites and beyond to give insight into the waste management lifecycle.

Topics will cover a wide range of areas, Including but not limited to:

• Spent fuel management & Decommissioning
• The Geological Disposal Facility
• Waste informed decommissioning 
• SL enterprise strategy
• Interaction/regulation of the nuclear industry
• Waste Management at Canada
• Post Operational Clean Out (POCO)
