The YGN are pleased to present our first event for 2019 in our Technical Tour series. We will be offering a limited number of young nuclear professionals the opportunity to attend a visit to EDF site Sizewell B. Delegates will be able to learn about the UK’s only Pressurised Water Reactor and tour the site. This will include seeing the radwaste and fuel buildings, transformers and where water is drawn in from the North Sea. The tour will also allow delegates to see inside the turbine hall and the Essential Diesel Generators.

- 10h30 Welcome and Overview of Sizewell B
- 11h00 External tour of the site, with explanations of buildings as passed, and the opportunity to see inside the turbine hall and the diesel generators.
- 13h30 Depart Site
The event is free with preference given to NI YGN members should the tour reach capacity. Transport not included. Click here for the flyer of the event.
