Nuclear Security Conference 2018

This conference will explore the experiences of the Defence and Civil nuclear sector, offering an opportunity to hear the latest developments that are pushing the boundaries of innovation and being applied to integrate safety and security across the nuclear sectors.

It will share the latest experiences on critical matters, drawing on a range of insights from across the Critical National Infrastructure.

It will provide the opportunity to meet with fellow professionals and explore current and future challenges.  Attending this event will give delegates many chances to interact and actively contribute to conversations during panel sessions and breaks. 

PROGRAMME:

The programme will focus on two key themes “Innovation and Integration”.

Engage in dialogue with regulators, duty holders, academia and the supply chain on topics including;

  • Integrating Safety & Security by design
  • Advancements to protect the supply chain
  • Purpose driven metrics to optimise assurance
  • Personal Security innovation
  • Implementing and guiding Security in a regulated environment   
  • Interconnecting cyber and physical systems
  • Optimising security forces training and integration
  • Academic initiatives that are improving nuclear security
