Requirements Management SIG

Requirements Management Special Interest Group

Overview

The principle purpose of the group is to advance the understanding and use of the discipline, as business as usual in the nuclear sector.  This approach will ensure the genuine needs of stakeholders are identified and validated through hard evidence and references, that links are established between inter-related requirements and delivery of the requirements are verified by direct evidence. It is crucial to establish requirements as early as possible in the life cycle of a programme or project, with a clear flow down into more detailed requirements as work progresses.   This group will provide a forum within which Requirements Management experience, challenges and good practice can be shared within the UK nuclear industry, including regulators. It provides a forum where experience from different industry sectors can be discussed and learning and good practice can be identified and shared.  It will provide access to a trusted community that can advise and contribute activities on this subject matter across the UK nuclear industry.

Steering Group & Terms of Reference

Chaired by Tony Gibson, the work of the SIG is coordinated by a steering group that reports to the NI CEO alongside an NI Board of Trustee.
