Cumbria Joint Institute Group Student Aspiration Workshop (JIGSAW)

Please be aware of an innovative programme of student workshops that the Nuclear Institute are co-organising in Cumbria as part of a wide range of professional bodies which make up the Joint Institution Group (JIG).

The workshops are aimed at students who are either studying for degrees in any subject, or are thinking about doing this, and are  designed to build on the good work which is done in Cumbrian schools by many bodies and people, including many of you. Specifically the aim is to help the students achieve their potential through introducing them to an individual network of contacts and to develop the habit of self-led learning and development.

The first of the workshops is on Thursday 3rd September at Energus, Lillyhall, CA14 4JW.

Please view the timetable for the day at www.icheme.org/cumbria-jigsaw-flyer

There are four ways in which you may wish to get involved:

  2. Do you know any degree students or aspiring students of absolutely any subject or education provider? 3. Do you know of any bodies or organisations that may wish to have one of the free stand places? If so, please can you ask them to contact membergroups@icheme.org quoting “Cumbria JIGSAW Stand” in the title.
