National Nuclear Lifting Forum

About 

The National Nuclear Lifting Forum (NNLF) is a forum of licensees, service providers and manufacturers initiated in 2006 in order to serve as a focal point for the development of shared understandings in some of the difficult areas of nuclear lifting practice.
The forum has been successful in achieving that aim and has contributed to installations and practice at a number of licenced sites.

Meetings are arranged twice a year with presentations and discussions around the themes of nuclear crane design, operation and safety cases.

Objectives
  1. To enhance the Safety of Nuclear Lifting to establish consistency and good practice.
  2. Share “Learning from Experience” and review investigations of significant events.
  3. Share Technical Knowledge
  4. Endeavour to influence Industry Standards
  5. Share ongoing developments.
  6. Champion continuous improvement.
