About NI North East

The Nuclear Institute North East Branch was inaugurated during the summer of 2004 and an enthusiastic committee was formed representing all interested parties in the region. Since then, The NE Branch area has also been enlarged to cover all of Yorkshire.

The North East branch aims primarily to offer an open forum in which people involved in relevant nuclear activities in the UK can meet and discuss issues surrounding the industry on social and professional levels.

To do this we arrange meetings at which issues may be debated or papers may be read and discussed and ideas exchanged between members. The NE Branch aims to collaborate with other regional Nuclear Institute branches, UK, European and other institutions.
