Following a valuable first event in 2017, this year delegates will explore the latest advances in mathematical modelling and simulation as well as the deployment of new techniques used in nuclear science and engineering.

Key topics will include Application of Modelling in Risk Analysis - Data Assimilation and Uncertainty - Validation and Verification.

Delegates will hear from leading authorities at the forefront of advancing innovation in Nuclear industry, regulators and academia.

This year’s speakers include leading experts from Bangor University, Office for Nuclear Regulation, Fraser-Nash Consultancy, EDF Energy, NNL, UKAEA, KTH-Sweeden, Wood, Imperial College London and University of Cambridge.

 Authors are invited to submit abstracts up to 250 words written as a free-standing text containing key objectives and conclusions.

Abstracts should contain the title of the presentation, names of authors and their affiliations including the full contact details of the corresponding author.

The organising committee particularly welcomes poster presentations relating to the recent advances in validation and verification subject area.
