Peer Review Forum (PRF) Terms of Reference
- To share and develop good practice in the Independent Peer Review of nuclear facility safety cases, with the outputs captured in published guidance.
- This will take account of lessons learned throughout the nuclear industry and other industries.
- It will consider appropriate and effective use of the supply chain, including the engagement of SQEP resource with niche skills.
- To enable benchmarking of peer review processes.
- To share regulatory issues related to Independent Peer Review.
- To provide a cross-industry forum to promote an agreed understanding of basic principles of peer review.
- To share operating experience and lessons learned relating to peer review.
- The group will focus primarily on the review of nuclear safety cases; however the review of other types of documentation may be discussed, as applicable.
