The ‘Intro to Waste management and Decommissioning’ event aims to bring together early career professionals and those new to the industry to give them an opportunity to explore the fundamentals of nuclear waste management and decommissioning.
The event will be separated into three days, one day will include a tour of Sellafield Ltd site and a tour of the Low-Level Waste Repository to give delegates the opportunity to visit a nuclear facility undergoing decommissioning and a nuclear waste repository. This program will provide ample opportunity for networking, Q&A sessions with subject matter experts and sessions exploring operational and strategic aspects of the nuclear industry.
In addition to the two-day event, at the end of day two a social will be planned to host all delegates for a dinner to enable further networking and create a platform for engagement.
