Shortlist revealed for the WiN UK Awards

Nine finalists for the annual Women in Nuclear UK (WiN UK) Awards have been revealed.

The awards, which launched in 2017, recognise people across the nuclear sector, who have gone above and beyond to promote gender balance and diversity. The shortlist spans the nuclear sector, with finalists from academia, the nuclear supply chain, nuclear operations and decommissioning.

Jack Gritt, President of Women in Nuclear UK said:

“It is the first year the awards have been open to nominations and WiN UK was encouraged by the number of applications we received. I was heartened by each of the nominations to see the work going on to address gender balance and diversity. It was an incredibly tough decision for the judges to make, but we have a really strong shortlist and some inspirational stories to share on the day.”
