The London & Southern Counties Centre is pleased to give notice of an open meeting on a subject that we feel has not been given very great attention in our recent programmes of events. We have arranged a panel of expert speakers to provide delegates with an overview of the legal and technical aspects of nuclear wastes and an exploration of the potential environmental impacts.

Technical Tour Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre

The YGN are pleased to present the first event of 2018 in our Technical Tour series. We will be offering a limited number of young nuclear professionals the opportunity to attend a site visit of the Nuclear AMRC’s open-plan 5000 m2 workshop containing over £30M worth of state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, as well as the newly built Factory 2050 which focuses on developing future manufacturing technologies.

UK TOUR - Canadian Nuclear Society visit the UK

The Nuclear Institute is delighted to welcome Colin Hunt, secretary of the Canadian Nuclear Society and publisher of the Nuclear Canada Yearbook, to the UK. Colin will be visiting various branches of the Nuclear Institute.
