The YGN are pleased to present our first event in 2020 for our popular Technical Tour series.
We will be offering a limited number of young nuclear professionals the opportunity to attend a visit of Westinghouse Springfields site. Springfields manufacture oxide fuels for Advanced gas-cooled and Light Water Reactors, as well as uranium recovery and decommissioning services. Attendees will be able to learn about fuel production and the operations carried out, before touring the fabrication plant.
The event is free with preference given to NI YGN members should the tour reach capacity.
