The YGN are pleased to present another event in our Technical Tour series:
We will be offering a limited number of young nuclear professionals the opportunity to attend a site visit of Urenco, the organisation that enriches uranium to provide fuel for nuclear power utilities and plays a key role in the nuclear fuel supply chain.
Delegates will be able to learn about the enrichment process carried out at Urenco, as well as having the opportunity to see the enrichment plant, where centrifuge technology is used to separate U-235 and U-238 and increase the proportion of U-235 up to 5%.
The event is free with preference given to NI YGN members should the tour reach capacity.
