Technical Tour - Cammell Laird

The YGN are pleased to present another event in our Technical Tour series:

Cammell Laird

Date: 23rd August 2018
Venue: Cammell Laird, Birkenhead

We will be offering a limited number of young nuclear professionals the opportunity to attend a site visit of Cammell Laird, the shipbuilding organisation who built and, earlier this year, successfully launched RRS Sir David Attenborough into the River Mersey. Delegates will be able to learn about the history of Cammell Laird and it’s leading capability in the marine sector as shipbuilding and ship repair specialists, as well as seeing first hand the Cammell Laird site.

Please note the booking deadline is 17th August

The event is free with preference given to NI YGN members should the tour reach capacity. Please note transport is not included.

Please contact YGNTechnicalTours@nuclearinst.com for more information (flyer of the event here) and to book your place by filling this form.
