The Cumbrian YGN are happy to announce the launch of the KS4 and KS5 Young person's speaking competition! This will be held on Thursday 30th January.

Our entrants will be asked to answer one of the following questions in the form of a video, back of a book summary or poster:

  • How will we power the next generation of transport?
  • What will the energy mix look like by 2050?
  • Will society's attitude towards energy have to change if we are to meet our climate change targets?

All entries must be received by midnight on Sunday 12th January. There are some great prizes up for grabs including 1:1 coaching or mentoring and 1 weeks work experience offered by Sellafield Ltd,  a 3-day placement opportunity offered by Wood Nuclear and £100 donated by NNL to be spent on personal development.
