Lecture Synopsis:

The NDA Corporate Centre has a leadership role in driving innovation across the NDA group. As well as exploring opportunities which could enable the group, the Strategy and Technology Directorate has recently undertaken a group-wide consultation to identify the Grand Challenges for technical innovation which could support the targets for reducing the costs of decommissioning which are set out in the Nuclear Sector Deal.

This lecture will give an overview of the findings of this work so far and also some wider background context on the NDA’s approach to R&D and innovation.
