About NILB

The London Branch is the newest branch of the Nuclear Institute, established in 2011 in response to the strong renaissance within the Nuclear Industry in recent years. No area has felt this growth in the nuclear industry more than London and with it the opportunity to provide an open forum for people involved and interested in the nuclear industry in London. This is aptly summarised in the London Branch mission statement:

“To educate people in London on nuclear power and the nuclear industry and provide the City’s professionals especially those working within the nuclear industry with a platform to share knowledge and experience. The London Branch will offer a series of high-profile lectures and events for the public and networking opportunities for its members.”

We work within a multicultural team to typically provide a programme of around 6 to 8 London based events over the course of a year covering a range of nuclear related topics. We also collaborate with other regional NI branches and other Institutions.

We will keep you informed about all London branch activities through our regular newsletter and website, so please ensure we have your up to date e-mail address. Please remember that this is your branch and we actively seek your views and support to deliver the aims of the Nuclear Institute.
