Mycareerpath is an easy to use online tool to help you plan your development, gather and reflect on your activities and review your progress, free for all members.
With the use of tailored profiles, including the NI’s professional membership grades and four accreditation routes of Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, Engineering Technician or Chartered Scientist, you can record evidence against the requirements or competencies, or any other goal you are working towards. You can create action plans and generate reports on your progress to send them to your mentor or line managers for review.
The Engineering Council has published CPD guidance for its members which can be accessed here. This can be managed through mycareerpath.
It is fast and simple to use and accessible on desktop, tablet or mobile so you can log activities or plans on the go. Avoid the year end laborious process of creating your CPD submission by updating throughout the year – the NI accept the mycareerpath report, that you can submit by email, as your CPD submission.
As you begin to review and recognise your skills you will find that development becomes easier through the use of competence frameworks, and keeping an up-to-date record of your education, learning and development in one central place.
