N-VisageData-Driven modelling of gamma radiation for decommissioning studies

This article describes the development and application of the N-Visage™ data-driven gamma radiation modelling environment. N-Visage™ is a unique plant analysis radiometric technique, developed at REACT Engineering Ltd, which fuses radiometric data with a geometric model to derive a model of the radiation environment. REACT Engineering Ltd has recently received funding from the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) to extend the capabilities of the N-Visage™. This development, including the method, some laboratory trials and a new imaging instrument based on the method, is also described in this article.
