ECITB Nuclear Conference: Delivering Successful Projects

ECITB Nuclear Project Management Conference 7 September 2016

The ECITB is pleased to announce the first Nuclear Project Management Conference, entitled ‘Delivering Successful Projects.’ The conference will take place on 7 September 2016 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Manchester, commencing at 9.30am. The event will include a main conference and an exhibition. The event is expected to close at 4.30pm.

The aim of the conference is to challenge the industry to define what makes nuclear projects unique and how we can enhance project delivery within the nuclear sector. The conference will be delivered by senior project practitioners from nuclear new build and decommissioning as well as other critical national infrastructure projects.

The event will focus on improved delivery of nuclear projects. It will also provide the opportunity to explore best practice and hear a wide array of speakers give their account of project delivery in highly complex and often highly regulated environments.

Come and hear from industry experts and practitioners, be challenged in interactive workshops and help promote good practice and knowledge sharing of success stories.

Who should attend:

  • CEOs to join the discussion and help improve understanding of best practice from major projects outside of nuclear
  • Programme/Portfolio Managers with an interest in hearing about best practice
  • Project Managers to improve understanding from a practitioner’s perspective

  • PMO professionals (Risk Managers, Cost Engineers, Schedulers, Project Controller, etc.) who want to improve their understanding of other sectors and good practice
