Cumbria Speaking Competition 2017 - Finalists Announced

The Nuclear Institute Cumbria Branch and the YGN are pleased to present the 2017 Cumbria Branch Presentation Competition for Young Speakers.

The competition is open to everyone 37 and under at the time of the competition (i.e. those eligible to be members of the NI Young Generation Network) regardless of whether or not they are members of the NI. The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize and the opportunity to take part in the National YGN Speaking Competition in the Autumn, competing against other branch YGN Speaking Competition winners for further cash prizes and the opportunity to present at a YGN Seminar.

The competition provides valuable experience in presentation and communications skills in front of a live audience, with past winners of the Cumbria competition going on to perform strongly at the National Finals.

We would like to invite interested individuals to submit applications to enter the competition. To do this, please submit a title and 200 word synopsis by following the guidance in the application form and the event Poster. Applications to enter must be received by Friday 21st April 2017 by email to NIYGNCumbria@gmail.com

The best 6 synopses will be selected and invited to present at the speaking competition on Tuesday 6th June.
