The NI Cumbria Branch was established in 2005 following the alliance of the former NI (BNES) Special Interest Group and the Institution of Nuclear Engineers; by harnessing the enthusiasm and vast experience of members the group has developed and maintained a thriving community of nuclear professionals in the Cumbria region. The Branch boasts a varied membership of professionals who believe in the benefits of developing a nuclear industry as part of a balanced and sustainable energy mix for the future.
The annual dinner is our cornerstone event, providing an opportunity for companies from across the industry to come together and enjoy this special evening. The event is central to the branches ability to delivery all our charity and educational activities throughout the year including public education events and supporting our local year people in their development to name but a few of our key activities no of which would be possible without the support of our dinner sponsors and attendees.
