YGN South West Exhibition and Networking Event with NI Western Branch - Speaking Competition

Time: from 16:00 for the YGN South West Exhibition and Networking Event, followed by the NI Western Branch Speaking Competition at 18:00.

YGN South West Exhibition and Networking Event
The YGN South West Exhibition and Networking Event will be hosted by Burges Salmon at their Bristol office on 3 May 2018.
Following on from the success of the last few years, this event promises to be another fantastic afternoon and evening and will be open to all (including YGN members, non-members and senior delegates). The event will be free to attend for both delegates and exhibitors but spaces may be limited so please register your interest early.
Attendees will be invited to arrive from around 4pm. There will be a welcome speech at around 4.30pm, after which attendees will be free to network over drinks and nibbles and speak to many of the companies and representatives from across the industry who will be exhibiting and distributing merchandise.
The event will provide an excellent opportunity for YGN members and non-members to find out more about companies working in the nuclear sector, make new contacts, catch up with old contacts, discuss opportunities for collaboration, and increase awareness of some of the career opportunities on offer within the industry.
Whilst the list of this year’s list of exhibitors cannot be finalised yet, previous exhibitors have included: NI/YGN, EDF, Jacobs, NNL, Horizon Nuclear Power, Burges Salmon, Areva and QinetiQ, to name but a few.

NI Western Branch Speaking Competition
The YGN in association with the NI Western Branch also invite you to take part in the NI Western Branch Speaking Competition which will be hosted by Burges Salmon immediately following the Exhibition and Networking Event at around 6pm.
Attendees for the exhibition and networking event are very welcome to stay and watch the speaking competition - and all YGN attendees are encouraged to enter!
1st Prize - £300
2nd Prize - £200
3rd Prize - £100
Deadline for entries is 19 April 2018
The subject matter this year is Nuclear Energy.
The competition is open to everyone under the age of 37 at the time of the competition. The competition is open to members and non-members of the NI. The winner then goes forward to take part in the National YGN Speaking Competition, along with the winners of other NI regional branches. The National Competition will be held in the autumn of 2018, with further cash prizes and the opportunity to present at the YGN Seminar preceding the YGN Annual Dinner in 2018.
